zinc casting
Virtually it is casting with zinc that involves pouring molten zinc into a mold to form the desired shape. From a practical point of view, zinc casting does three things: first, it can create complex and fine shapes which cannot be made in any other way. Its technological features are: high dimensional precision; thin wall capability; complex shapes can be cast in one piece. The surface finish of zinc castings is usually quite smooth, reducing the need from further machining. Zinc casting finds applications across a wide range of industries from automobile manufacturing, electronics, through to construction materials. Products such as gears, brackets and electrical connectors are typically made by this technique.
